Why We Use HubSpot

How HubSpot helps

A CRM and marketing automation platform that connects sales, marketing, and service in one system. We use it internally as the central record for our pipeline, and we help clients get set up with the features that fit how their team operates.

How we use HubSpot

A platform with broad capabilities – here's what matters most for the work we do and the clients we serve.

What HubSpot does well

HubSpot combines CRM, email marketing, lead scoring, automation workflows, reporting dashboards, and meeting scheduling into a single platform. For B2B companies, that means contact management, deal tracking, lifecycle stages, and marketing automation all live in one place instead of being stitched together across tools. The free tier is genuinely usable for small teams. The paid tiers scale into enterprise-grade automation without requiring a dedicated admin to manage the platform.

How we help clients use it

We handle the Webflow side of HubSpot integration – connecting forms, embedding tracking, configuring lead routing, and making sure data flows from the site into the CRM cleanly. We also help with initial configuration: properties, pipelines, list segmentation, and basic automation to get clients operational. For deeper HubSpot work like custom workflows, attribution modeling, or complex nurture sequences, we'll connect you with a HubSpot specialist. Our role is making sure the website and the CRM talk to each other from day one.

How it fits in our stack

Internally, we use HubSpot as the CRM brain connecting a broader set of outreach and intent detection tools. Our setup is unconventional – we've built a custom stack around HubSpot that fits how our agency operates. That's not necessarily what we'd recommend for every client. What we do recommend is the configuration that matches your team's size, sales process, and goals. HubSpot is flexible enough to support both approaches, which is part of why we chose it.

How HubSpot compares

HubSpot is our CRM because it balances capability with accessibility. Here's how it compares to the platform our clients most often ask about.

Competitors: Salesforce, Marketo

HubSpot vs. Salesforce

Salesforce is the enterprise CRM standard – deeply customizable, built for complex sales organizations with dedicated admin teams. For companies with large sales operations and the resources to manage the platform, it's hard to match on capability. HubSpot gives teams a CRM with integrated marketing automation, email, and reporting without the overhead of dedicated platform administration. For the startups and growth-stage companies we work with most often, HubSpot gets them operational faster while still scaling as the organization grows. For clients already on Salesforce, we integrate with it the same way – the Webflow connection works regardless of which CRM sits behind it.

HubSpot vs. Marketo

Marketo (now Adobe Marketo Engage) is a powerful enterprise marketing automation platform – lead nurturing, campaign orchestration, and deep analytics built for large marketing teams with dedicated operations staff. It's strong at scale. HubSpot offers comparable marketing automation with a natively integrated CRM, which Marketo doesn't include on its own. For B2B companies that want CRM and marketing automation in a single platform without managing a separate Salesforce integration alongside it, HubSpot is the more self-contained choice – and the learning curve is significantly shorter for teams getting started.

Queries

Do I need HubSpot to work with Qontour?

No. We use HubSpot internally and can integrate it into client sites, but it's not required for any engagement. If you're on another CRM, we'll work with what you have.

Can you set up HubSpot for my team?

We can help with initial configuration and handle the full Webflow integration. For advanced HubSpot work like custom workflows, attribution modeling, or complex automation, we'll connect you with a HubSpot specialist.

How does HubSpot connect to our Webflow site?

We integrate HubSpot forms, embed tracking scripts, and configure lead routing so form submissions and visitor behavior flow directly into your CRM. The setup is part of how we build Webflow sites.

Is HubSpot free?

HubSpot offers a free CRM tier that covers basic contact management, deal tracking, and email. The marketing automation, lead scoring, and reporting features that make it powerful for growing companies are in their paid tiers.

What if we're already on Salesforce?

That's fine. We can still handle everything on the Webflow side and connect forms and tracking to Salesforce instead. We're not rigid about which CRM a client uses – HubSpot is our preference, but the integration work applies regardless of platform.

Need a little more explanation?

That’s what we do.

In the meantime – we built a free site diagnostic we're really proud of. We already have your email so you won't have to give us something we don't already have
